Deo P. Custodio (On Leave)

Atty. Deogracias P. Custodio is an expert and leader in special economic zones and freeports.

Currently, Deo is on leave from the Firm. He serves as Assistant Vice President for Policy and National Relations at ACEN. Previously, he was Chief Legal Counsel for Udenna Land, Inc, including its subsidiaries and affiliates, under the Udenna Group of Companies where he lent his expertise for the development of Clark Global City, an emerging commercial business district in the Clark Freeport Zone. In said capacity, Deo crafted and negotiated commercial contracts, advised on corporate structuring, oversees compliance with legal regulations, and represented the companies before various government regulatory agencies.

Previously, Deo served as Chairman of the Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan, where he successfully helped multinational and local companies establish and expand their diverse businesses.

He also worked as Chief of Staff to elected officials both in the Senate and House of Representatives. Earlier on, Deo worked at Puyat Jacinto & Santos Law handling corporate law, litigation, and intellectual property.

Atty. Custodio holds an MBA from INSEAD. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics from UP Diliman and his bachelor of laws degree from UP College of Law. During his student days, he headed the Upsilon Sigma Phi as Most Illustrious Fellow. He was admitted to the bar in 2001.
